The Jungian Association of Brazil-AJB, affiliated to the International Association for Analytical Psychology-IAAP (Zurich), is a non-profit organization, whose objectives are to promote the ethical and professional development of its members in the practice of Analytical Psychology; to make public the thinking of C. G. Jung through congresses, scientific meetings and the promotion of publications such as books and journals of subjects which are relevant to Analytical Psychology; to develop areas of research in various fields of application to the Analytical Psychology of C. G. Jung, in clinical, cultural aspects and in interdisciplinary realms.

It presently consists of six Institutes in the cities of São Paulo (Jungian Institute of São Paulo), Rio de Janeiro (Jungian Institute of Rio de Janeiro), Belo Horizonte (C. G. Jung Institute of Minas Gerais), Campinas (Institute of Analytical Psychology of Campinas), Curitiba (Junguian Institute of Paraná) and Porto Alegre (Junguian Institute of Rio Grande do Sul) . These Institutes are responsible for the formation of new analysts and for the functioning of AJB on a regional level.
